Child Care Services

The Child Care program is one of several programs available through the WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS Centers to assist families in becoming self-sufficient. The Child Care program is designed to assist income-eligible families with a portion of child care costs. Intake Specialists determine clients’ eligibility and determine whether funds are available at the category level of the clients’ eligibility. If funds are not available under the identified funding source, the child(ren) may be placed on a wait list. In order to remain active on the wait list, parents are required to update/renew their status to ensure they still meet the eligibility criteria.

In order to be eligible for Child Care Services, the following eligibility criteria must be met:

  1. All adults in the household must be working or training.
Single-parent households must be working and/or training at least 25 hours a week.
Two- parent households must be working and/or training at least 50 hours a week.

  2. Household must meet the income guidelines.
